  • Allan Grover
    Optician

Allan was born and raised in western New York. A licensed optician who has worked in every aspect of the optical business from his early days making glasses at a Buffalo lab to his many years managing large optical retailers throughout New York state he has been your optician at Gowanda Eyecare for the past 10 years.
"I purchased Gowanda Eyecare from the previous owner in March of 2020 because I love being able to provide eye wear based on what each individual's personal needs are and not based on what the corporate office tells us to sell. We are able to provide each individual patient personalized care from the first time they call to schedule their appointment to our comprehensive eye exams and throughput the eyewear purchase and fitting of the correct eyewear for your needs."

  • Dr Jillian Beyer
    Optometrist

Dr. Beyer is a Western New Yorker. She currently lives in Elma with her husband Jack and kids, Abby and Alex. Dr. Beyer graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a BS in Biology and received her Doctorate of Optometry at Suny Optometry in NYC. For the last 15 years she has been practicing family optometry.
"My favorite part of optometry is being able to see patients of all ages. I love examining children for their first exams and then being able to navigate adults through difficult eye diseases and overcome obstacles with their vision. It’s very rewarding to give patients their sight."
Dr. Beyer joined Gowanda Eyecare in January 2023. She previously had grown a private practice in the Buffalo and Rochester areas. She is happy to be working again with patients in a small community.
